If you need more power out of your CRF this is an excellent kit. It contains a 101.00mm piston , a non-OEM thicker walled barrel casting of 101.00mm bore to match the piston and all the gaskets and small parts necessary to fit the kit.
If you need to replace the crankshaft on your CRF you could do no better than this excellent aftermarket crankshaft from Wiseco. Shown below with the barrel, cam and spring kit also available. This crankshaft kit is such good value that it is worth considering replacing the whole crank when it comes time to replace the conrod! Contact ben.ballard@jbsracing.co.uk for more info.

Connecting Rod Kit
If you decided to replace the conrod alone JBS Racing can supply aftermarket conrods from exact OEM part copies (OEM supplier) Towa International, through to Wiseco stronger than stock parts right up to F1 quality Magna-flux tested guaranteed racing rods from Arrow Precision.

JAWA
JBS Racing
work closely with a speedway tuning shop and racing team and can supply any
Jawa or GM speedway parts, including pistons, cranks and bottom end
components and head components. Additionally JBS Racing can supply tuning
parts for the Jawa 870 engine including pistons and gaskets. We would be
interested in hearing from any Sidecar teams that would like to increase the
capacity over the 707cc that the 100mm piston gives. There is a lot of
potential in this engine which is not being full realised at GP level
because of the small bore to stroke ratio, we feel. Contact us

pistons that JBS Racing can supply see our

engine parts.

Additional Info for 4-Stroke Sidecars
With JBS Racings extensive experience in precision engineering and large well equipped workshop we can tackle any problem on a modern racing Sidecar.
For example -
Exhausts - Including calculating the primary tuned length and working to a multiple of that figure.
Crank re-balancing - for running with a different piston, with-out a counter-balancer or for chassis resonance tuning.
Oil Coolers - For any bike not just Husaberg.

Data Logging - Data logging has been an essential part of all forms of high end motorsport such as F1 and MotoGP for 25 years. With the advent of miniaturised electronics, GPS and solid-state accelerometers and gyros this technology has filtered down to sports such as WRC and Go-Cart. In recent years MX teams in the USA have started making extensive use of the technology.
Data logging would revolutionise Sidecarcross if teams would embrace it. It would help improve engine reliability massively by answering questions such as -
How long had the engine run for?
What was its RPM profile, average, max and at failure?
What were the water and oil temperature profiles, as above?
What was the oil pressure?
What was the HP profile, as above?
It also tells you a huge amount about set-up of the bike and is very easy to use. It would tell you -
Maximum cornering, accelerating and braking forces. Bigger being better / faster, and from this you can see is a tyre, suspension setting etc is helping or harming your lap time.
How much the rear wheel was slipping, helping you choose the right tyre and gearing.
It tells you about your riding style as well answering questions like -
Automatic lap timing and track mapping via
GPS & IRU?
What line you take on the track?
Your best theoretical lap if you took your best line on every corner?
With this system you can run a bike all day at the track with out even looking at it and then when you get home analyse the data or with a small laptop you can do live analysis at the GP. The system cost is £500-600 GBP which is relatively cheap considering that a single engine failure could cost 5 times that and this will help eliminate failures.
